Never before have we seen such a glorious Christmas present from Verizon, but it appears as though the original Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX are now receiving an over-the-air update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
A large number of users are reporting that the update is quite hefty, though we still have yet to hear anything official from Verizon.
It seems the update is rolling out in stages, so if you aren’t prompted right away, it shouldn’t be too much longer. Alternatively, you can manually check for the update by heading into Settings > About Phone > System Updates. Be sure to let us know if you’ve managed to snag the update in the comments below.
